Second Sunday of Epiphany

Kings Shall Kneel

Isaiah 49: 7

Kings never kneel or bow. They go to great lengths to show their superiority to everyone else. (An older class might want to rent the film, The King and I.)

Who is this baby, from a Jewish family, living under the occupation of the Roman conquerors, that kings come from the east to worship?

Isaiah knew that this would happen, and that a child would be born in Bethlehem.

Copy the cover on green card stock for Epiphany. Add the star that the wise men followed, and their jeweled crowns.

The manger can be made from twigs, filled with excelsior, or it can be made of gold, filled with golden angel hair.
