He Is Like a Tree that Always Has Leaves
In the Psalm we are talking about the person who follows the ways of the Lord - but what an excellent description of Jesus this verse is as well.
Put up the background and the banner. Using all the shades and textures of green paper you can find (make sure some of them are shiny), let the children make every kind of leaf they know of or can think of - oak, maple, poplar, apple, magnolia, cottonwood, or whatever tree does or doesn't grow in your neighborhood - and create a fantastic green tree to the glory of the Lord.
