The Transfiguration of Our Lord

This Is My Own Dear Son, and I Am Pleased with Him

Matthew 17: 5

Alpha (the a) and omega (the horseshoe) are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. When Jesus says, "I am the alpha and the omega," he means that he is all and everything, the beginning and the end and everything in between.

When God the father speaks from heaven, he says, "This is my own dear son, and I am pleased with him." Peter describes his feelings at the event in 2 Peter 1: 16 - 18.

Copy the cover on white card stock.

Cut the alpha and omega from holographic film or gold and silver mylar and glue to the cover.
