What would our lives be like if Jesus was as close to us as our favorite pair of blue jeans?
Put up the background and the banner.
Bring scraps of cloth - denim for jeans, flannel for pajamas, cotton knit for T-shirts and sweatshirts - and let each child create and decorate (with buttons, zippers, lace, and so on) his or her favorite piece of clothing.
(Bring fabric shears, but the children still may have difficulty with the cutting.)
Staple the garments to the bulletin board, and rejoice in the closeness of a loving and immediate God.
