Second Sunday of Christmas

God Gives the Finest Wheat

Psalm 147: 13

We give thanks for the goodness of God by sharing his gifts with his creation, and we continue our giving through the season of Christmas.

Obtain one untreated pine cone for each child. It is very important that the cones be non-toxic.

Using plastic knives, spread peanut butter in each piece of the cone, and push bird seed firmly into the peanut butter.

Add a strong cord for hanging outdoors and decorate with a red ribbon.

Not only is this a great gift for the hungry birds of winter, it is also a fine gift for those people (like grandparents) who enjoy watching them.
