Elisha Heals Naaman of Leprosy

2 Kings 5: 1- 14

1 Kings 19

2 Kings 2 - 9

2 Kings 13

Unlike the other prophets in the Old Testament who were called by God, Elisha was called by the prophet Elijah.

But Elijah lived and traveled alone, while Elisha often lived in a small community of prophets.

Elisha's ministry often foreshadowed the ministry of Jesus. Like Jesus, he fed large groups of people, healed people afflicted with leprosy, and brought people back to life, as Jesus did with Lazarus.

Unlike the other prophets in the Old Testament who were called by God, Elisha was called by the prophet Elijah.

Elisha was the sole witness when Elijah was transported directly to heaven in a chariot of fiery horses.
