A City Set on a Hill Cannot Be Hid

Matthew 5: 14

The cities set on the hills were probably the small cities of the Galilee.

But all of the people of Jerusalem looked at Jerusalem as their home city.

Put up the night sky (black or navy blue or very dark green for Epiphany) for the bulletin board and add the hill and banner.

Let the children make buildings - Biblical or contemporary (their own city) or fantastic - for the city.

Make openings for all the windows and back them all with gold or silver foil.

And then sing "This Little Light of Mine."
