St. Luke

We Give Thanks for a Writer of the Gospel

The symbol of St. Luke is an ox, because he emphasizes the nature of Jesus as sacrifice. The wings symbolize his inspiration from heaven in his writing.

Copy the cover on red or scarlet card stock. Make the scroll of the Gospel and the cross both gold or silver, using either paper or markers. Use feathers or gold net for the wings, and add rhinestones for the eyes.

Use a silver marker for the horns.
