Second Sunday of Pentecost

We Ourselves Are Being Made Stronger Each Day

 2 Corinthians 4: 13 - 5: 1

Tents (or tabernacles) were the permanent homes of many Middle Easterners, who traveled throughout the area as they followed the herds of cattle and flocks of sheep.

Jewish fathers believed that God wanted them to teach each son a trade or a skill, so that he would be able to earn a living. Paul, the apostle, had been trained as a tentmaker.

1. What do we know about God?

[We know that God raised the Lord Jesus to life.]

2. What do we know about things that are not seen?

[The things that are not seen are eternal.]

3. What will happen to our bodies?

[Our bodies will be in heaven and will last forever.]
