Christmas Eve

You Will Find Him Dressed in Baby Clothes

Luke 2: 11-14

The baby Jesus was swaddled, wrapped in long bands of cloth, because the mothers of that time believed that the babies felt safer and more secure when they were wrapped tightly.

Mangers are troughs filled with food for animals. The cattle wouldn't eat unless their feed was clean, dry, and sweet-smelling.

Inns were noisy, crowded places, where hungry travelers shared meals and beds.
