Reformation Day

A River and Its Streams Bring Joy to the City

Psalm 46: 4

In the time of Jesus, the Romans built aqueducts to bring water vast distances to the cities.

We urban people forget how dependent we are on huge quantities of water to make our lives comfortable and pleasant.

Make any sort of city you like - modern or classical - our own or Jerusalem.

Let the water stream through in cellophane or ribbon or formex film, and listen to the city shout with joy.

An older class might want to research and build an aqueduct.
