Why Do the Children of God Suffer?

Suffering and hard work have been a part of people's relationship with God since their first sin.

But suffering is not punishment, and work is our way of taking our place in God's world. God doesn't abandon us in hard times, but he does expect us to come closer to him when we are in bad places in our lives.

And we are very sure that God never wants us to cause his people or his creation to suffer.
