Sixth Sunday of Epiphany

We Make Peace with Our Brothers and Sisters

Matthew 5: 21 - 26

Being truly reconciled with someone who has done harm to us is the most difficult task Jesus gives us.

But Jesus' point is that if we cannot come to terms with and forgive someone we know and see face to face every day, how can we be reconciled to the God in Heaven whom we cannot see?

Reconcile means to restore to friendship, harmony, or communion.
